The show combines the teams’ knowledge of con games, magic, psychological swindles, pick-pocketing, and sleight-of-hand to offer light-hearted demonstrations on current subjects such as: Identity Thieves, Poker Cheat, Pickpockets, and Gypsy Psychics Performances utilize AV integration to magnify the presentations, allowing an intimate experience as the performances happen both on the stage and in the audience. Meet the Team Apollo: Born the son of a traveling minister, and baby brother to pickpockets, Apollo possesses the sleight-of-hand skills of a thief, the charm of a con artist, and the morals of a preacher’s son. He’s equally at home with ex-cons and ex-Presidents. (Apollo once pick-pocketed Secret Service agents in front of a president). Currently, The New Yorker Magazine is doing a profile on Apollo that will be published soon. Additionally, he just co-produced his own TV series on Court TV that will air in the summer of 2007. Ava Do a.k.a. Jane Do: Misdirected by her charm and beauty, audiences often underestimate the abilities of this petite charlatan. While at first the guest are drawn in to the novelty of meeting a beautiful female magician, they soon realize she has the expertise of a Con Artist. As she mingles through the crowd, she begins telling them personal information about themselves... birthdays, mother's maiden names & credit card numbers. This is a very modern approach of combining Fraudulent Mind Reading with an Identity Theft premise. Rod the Hop: A charming, soft-spoken country boy who once dealt poker and made sure the Mob guys won. He was so good that security cameras couldn't catch his sleight of hand! Rod has turned his career around and now entertains people with the same skills he used to steal from them.
